Article 1 – An Overview of Government

As with many aspects of our Edonian society, the repurposing of traditional words and phrases is useful but misleading if we do not first contextualize them appropriately. “Government” is no exception. That is to say, the gamut of governmental models authority. Even ostensibly communist societies fell into this trap, as those in power were disinclined to abolish the structures that imparted said power. So, as we commence with outlining a system of law and order, consider that there will be no single body of governance in the traditional sense—no ruling body of bureaucrats, no politicians campaigning for election, and, for that matter, no political parties. In lieu of leaders, power democracy, with no one person holding disproportionate power or sway over another.

However, this is not to say that we can or will disregard any semblance of a justice system. As much as we might like to imagine our society as autonomously peaceful and orderly, and as much as we might like to imagine ourselves as generally moral citizens can deal with contingencies. Thus, let us first familiarize ourselves they will be implemented:
